ARS: Currency Converter browser extension. Last updated 20 July 2026.
What the extension collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no telemetry. The extension does not collect personal data, browsing history or page content, and it sends nothing about you anywhere. This website itself keeps anonymous visit statistics without cookies, but that is the site alone, not the extension.
What it stores
One setting: the currency you pick in the popup. It is kept in your browser on your own device so the extension remembers the choice. Removing the extension removes it.
What it talks to
To convert prices the extension requests public exchange rates from Bluelytics (api.bluelytics.com.ar) and CoinGate (api.coingate.com). Those requests carry no personal data and nothing about the pages you visit, only the rate lookup itself. Both services see such a request the way any website you open sees a visit, and their own terms apply to it.
Where it runs
The extension reads and rewrites prices only on the listing pages it supports, currently MercadoLibre and ZonaProp. It does not run on other sites, and the conversion happens locally in your browser.
